Better Council Inc. is a non-partisan grassroots group of young professionals who are passionate about keeping local government focused on local issues. We are a registered third-party campaign entity driven by a dedicated team of community volunteer members who want to make a difference. We are not aligned to any political party and do not endorse any specific candidates.

Our campaign is concerned with some of the priorities of certain Greens councillors, who we strongly believe are focusing too much on international issues rather than on what matters to local residents. We believe local councils should concentrate on essential community services like waste management, local infrastructure, and the environment. That’s what councils are there for—looking after the needs of their local communities.
